Our supervision & support systems exist to ensure that we understand the experiences of our employees and identify additional elements of training they may require to continually improve the quality of service being received by their clients.
Employees of Dolleina represent a geographically diverse group of health professionals residing in metropolitan and regional areas of New South Wales with regular face-to-face contact with management and supervisory staff being very difficult to achieve.
Dolleina appreciate the commitment and dedication our care workers have to their profession and the people under their care. It is quite normal for care workers to develop a stronger bond with their clients rather than Dolleina as their legal employer. We promote the independence of both care workers and clients and understand that support is not always required however, mechanisms are in place for scheduled support sessions plus emergency support when required.
Care coordinators and senior care workers take on a mentoring role providing guidance and support to members of their team. The door is open every Tuesday and all staff are welcome to call in for “Coffee and a Chat” to work through some of the issues they are experiencing in their role as care workers.
Should there be issues requiring attention out of business hours our office telephones are diverted to a qualified and experienced coordinator.
